My name is David and I am 61 years old. When I discovered I had prostate cancer I was offered five different types of treatment but no one recommended which one to have.
After some research I chose laparoscopic prostatectomy and am very glad I did. I played 18 holes of golf only 6 weeks after the op. and got a hole in one (an accident that most men will take full responsibility for!) It is now just over 6 months since I had my operation and I am back to normal with full control of my waterworks.
My PSA came back as 0.1, which my local consultant tells me is as good as it gets.
